These are beautiful handmade agate bookends! Each bookend is hand cut and polished in Brazil from rough agate geodes. Geodes are ancient rocks formed by the dissolution of past volcanic eruptions or sedimentary nodules (like quicksand) over millions of years and are known to carry large amounts of energy.
Each agate geode is hand-picked from a rough material for a natural aesthetic, hand-cut in half, polished and dyed. It takes a lot of work to make these handmade bookends.
