Made in Japan, this basket showcases a beautiful tight-knit woven wicker weave in a classic honey brown finish, and along with lovely woven aqua blue accent bands on the sides and top of lid, it creates a durable and charming exterior. The hinged lid opens to reveal a stunning floral-patterned satin lining in lovely white, blue and green colors, providing an elegant home for your sewing essentials. The basket is completed with a latch and a sturdy wicker swing handle.
This vintage sewing basket was made in Japan expressly for Gimbels.
