Fabulous, VICTORIAN, Open Face, Silver Plate, ANCRE 15 JEWELS, SWISS Mechanical, Key Wind Pocket Watch, with Subdial, by COURVOISIER.
This circa 1870s pocket watch was made in Geneva, Switzerland, for the French Market.
Works!!!
* The watch case measures 2 3/4" w/bow x 2" (52mm) x 1/2" deep.
* Watch is Sterling Silver over brass with etched swirl and Heraldic Shield back. Back opens to reveal an Inner Case with key holes for winding and setting time. That case opens to show the inner workings.
Key Wind and Key Time Set work.
* Bone white dial has black hour, minute, and second hands, Roman Numerals, Arabic numeral minute markers, and a seconds subdial.
* Watch crystal lid opens, is original to the piece, and is without scratches, fogging, or dings.

Back and inner cases both have the same watch number.
Exceptionally Good Condition ~ some silver plate loss.
NO RETURN ~ Although working, last service date unknown.
