I think this may be the biggest goofus glass piece I have seen in my 25 years reselling on eBay. It measures about 15.25" tall and is about 6" wide at the widest point. This vase was hand blown into a mold and has the typical rough edge around the opening from where the rod was snapped off. I estimate the paint is about 95-98% intact. The style is really a lovely merge of Art Nouveau and Victorian.
The colors are a bluish gray background with red gold and green. The bluish gray is where the most paint loss is, since it is the thinnest layer.
I couldn't find another example of this particular case and couldn't narrow down the maker. If anyone has any info on it, I'd be curious to know more. Part of what I enjoy best is researching the items I find. I hate coming up empty. lol.
