I should have known better! I washed some old curtains and they didn't hold up very well!! Not the first time I have had this happen! I should have put them in a pillowcase.....
So I sat with my seam ripper and removed all of the eyelet trim.
Each piece of the trim from the curtains is 4 yards long. The pieces from the tiebacks are smaller.
If you look at the pictures there is a small section of each curtain section that is frayed from being tangled in my washing machine ( about 12 inches or so each).
This is still very usable! It would be great for making Doll clothes and other crafts. I don't think it is sturdy enough to handle being washed frequently though.
I have several other sewing supplies listed. Maybe put together a bundle and save on shipping??
