New/Sealed/Vintage: United Delco Playing Cards (Est 1960-1974)
Delco (Dayton Engineering Laboratories Company) was founded in 1909 and was sold to General Motors in 1918. Around 1960, the division's name was changed to United Delco. A new logo was created by Lance Wyman (designer of the graphic identity for the 1968 Mexico City Olympics, among other projects). Delco became AC-Delco in 1974.
The Redislip finish not only enhances the functionality of the cards but also contributes to their durability. The coating helps prevent the cards from sticking together, which can be a common issue with regular playing cards.
