Makers mark inside box reads LANE CEDAR CHESTS ALTAVISTA VA Presented by Hansen's UKIAH FURNITURE CO.. VINTAGE, wood color good, a few minor blemishes&wear.,hairline crack below hinge, NO KEY. Stamped on bottom #5511 & if this is date made, it would be Nov 1955.This chest may have been presented to a young girl for graduation ,lookup info on LANE'S GIRL GRADUATE PLAN.
