PlumbPak PP19000
The Solid Mount is the ideal solution for anchoring grab bars to existing fiberglass shower walls where a gap between the shower and frame makes it difficult to have sturdy installations. It’s installed through the face of the fiberglass panel and uses a patented mounting assembly to attach to the stud, sealing the hole and offering a secure mounting surface for easy grab bar attachment. The Solid Mount can span a distance of 7/8-in to 2-1/8-in between the fiberglass surround and wall stud. After installation, the Solid Mount leaves a 3-in flat surface exposed where most standard grab bars with 2-1/2-in or 3-in mounting plates can be installed.
