Little red riding hood hand painted selenite moonstone SEALED

The story revolves around a girl called Little Red Riding Hood. In Grimms’ and Perrault’s versions of the tale, she is named after her red hooded cape/cloak that she wears. The girl walks through the woods to deliver food to her sickly grandmother (wine and cake depending on the translation).

I hand-painted this eerie collaboration of Little Red Riding Hood on a selenite moonstone.

Selenite, derived from the Greek word "selene" meaning moon, is a translucent, white crystal associated with the moon and known for its cleansing and purifying properties. It is believed to clear negative energy, promote mental clarity, and facilitate spiritual growth. Selenite is also thought to enhance intuition and connection with higher realms.

Measures 3 1/4“ in diameter x 1/2 inch. Sealed with gloss varnish to help preserve the art.
