This stunning mid-century porcelain temple jar was hand-painted in Macau and features vivid Famille Rose decoration with raised enamel and gold accents. Standing approximately 14"H (including lid) and 8.5"W at its broadest point, the jar is richly detailed with colorful scenes of warriors on horseback, dignitaries in court, and traditional Chinese symbols.
The jar's surface exhibits a stippled glaze texture common in Macau porcelain of the 1950s–1980s. A bold red pomegranate finial tops the lid, symbolizing abundance and prosperity, while the gold highlights and moriage-style outlines showcase the artistry of the region's export ware.
