Al Black Tail Deer is affiliated with Sioux Indians. This hexagon shape trinket box is Beautifully hand made. It's a little less than 3" tall and about 4 1/2" wide. I never used it. Just decoration only. No cracks, chips, or blemishes. I have many beautiful items made by Al Black Tail Deer. I lived on Ellsworth AFB in South Dakota for over 4 years. I was part owner of a ceramic shop in Rapid City, S.D. and this is where I met him. He is a very talented artist and a very nice man.
