Listed is an authentic 1859 Indian Head Cent, the very first year this iconic U.S. coin was minted. Designed by James B. Longacre, it features Lady Liberty in a Native American headdress on the obverse, with “ONE CENT” inside a laurel wreath on the reverse (unique to 1859 only).
