Nest 2nd gen in good working condition with some normal wear and tear to the exterior from more than a decade of use. I've recently upgraded my Nest thermostat to a newer model and am now selling the old one. Does not come with wall plate but it's purely cosmetic.
The thermostat learns from you and your home, programs itself automatically, and helps save energy when you're away. And you can control it using your smartphone, tablet, or laptop. In independent studies, the Nest Thermostat saved an average of 10%–12% on heating bills and 15% on cooling bills.
After October 25, 2025, 1st and 2nd Gen Nest Thermostats will no longer connect to or work with the Google Nest app or Google Home app. This means users will lose the ability to:
* Remotely control the thermostat.
* Check its status from their phone or tablet.
* Receive notifications or alerts.
* Access features like Home/Away Assist.
* Nest Protects will also disconnect from the thermostat.
