This is a vintage 1983 empty Illini Beer can.The beer was produced by the Great Lakes Brewing Co.Illini Beer was only produced for a very short time and could be found in 1983 in or around the University of Illinois campus and Champaign Ill.area.It is a white can with the Fighting Illini colors of orange and blue.Chief Illiniwek on one side and the 1983 game schedule on the other side. It is in very nice vintage condition.There is 2 scratches on one side.A scratched area below the word edition on the Chief Illiniwek side near the bottom and a couple other tiny scratched areas.Please zoom in all photos to see the details and condition.Preowned and sold as is as described and photographed.Nice nostalgic University of Illinois historical collectible.
