I am not the one who repaired this unit, I bought it as refurbished about a year or so ago and this is the description from the previous seller:
"The aluminum electrolytic capacitors on the main circuit board have been replaced with new, high-quality ones manufactured by a Japanese manufacturer (normally, this model had a slightly harsh bass, but this has been improved). The rubber belt has been replaced with a new, generic one. The head and pinch roller were cleaned before listing. We believe the performance is extremely high, so please give it a try!"
I only used this player a handful of times since I ended up buying a different player that I use more but it seems to work great and sounds good for its age!
