Gorgeous hand painted Lefton china plate featuring orange roses against a light brown backdrop with scalloped edges and a gold trim. Although the theme isn’t explicitly “desert” I think it would fit in beautifully in any desert or southwestern themed room.
It has holes in the back to put string or wire through it for a hanging display.
Marked“ Lefton China Hand Painted Reg. U.S. Pat. Off.” with a Rowan symbol. This marking was used from 1949 - 1955. This plate is model number NE2513.
There is slight wear to the gold and a few small manufacturing imperfections on the back and edge (as is common with these sorts of vintage items), but otherwise is in excellent condition.
