Yukata (summer kimono) - shibori (tie-dye)

This is a newly made garment from unused fabric.
It has been washed once after tailoring.
Washing instructions are listed below.

The areas with sun damage and stains have been placed on the under-front and seat lining, so I believe they will be hardly noticeable when worn.

The simple color scheme makes it suitable for pairing with any color or pattern of obi (sash).

When worn as a yukata (summer kimono), the inside of the hanging collar is left unsewn to allow for the insertion of a collar stiffener.
You can wear it without a collar stiffener without any problem.
Also, it would be lovely to wear it as a summer kimono over a han-juban (half undergarment) with a collar or a han-eri gilet (half-collar vest).

■About Washing
① Spot clean stains with a mild detergent.
② Fold neatly and put it in a laundry net, then use the delicate cycle.
③ Spin for less than a minute (about 20 seconds).
④ On a waterproof sheet (like two large plastic bags), refold it neatly and place another waterproof sheet over the entire garment, then weigh it down (for about 30 minutes).
⑤ Hang to dry in the shade on a kimono hanger (or in a well-ventilated room).

This is my method.
When I was young, I had my yukata dry-cleaned every time, and they shrank considerably.
