This is a lot of two books for kids about the space program. Big Ideas That Changed the World - Rocket to the Moon! is a hardcover graphic novel of 132 pages by Don Brown from Amulet Books that came out in 2019, the 50th anniversary of the moon landing. The book explores the ideas that spurred the aeronautical discoveries that led up to the "big idea" of a moon landing, and how that idea became a reality. The book is in excellent condition; the only flaw of note is a bit of damage to the sticker on the front cover noting the 50th anniversary of the moon landing (see photo). On The Shuttle - Eight Days in Space is a paperback from by Barbara Bondar, Canada's first female astronaut, and her sister, Dr. Roberta Bondar, a teacher, librarian and author. Barbara Bondar was a member of the crew of the shuttle Discovery in 1992. The book is heavily illustrated with photos and diagrams of various facets of the journey. The book is in good condition with just a little cover wear.
