You can also use 2 - AA Batteries (Not Included).
Player works well, however, you have to press down on one side of the top cover so that it can close correctly in order for disc to play. The cover snaps close. But, it just needs some type of reinforcement to push down a little more.
In this case, we used a piece of clear tape to tape it down. However, the tape was just used to test device. I have included some pictures so you can see (but tape has since been removed and does not come with this sale).
