Vintage Presto Automatic Electric Skillet; Footed W/Lid, Cord & Adjustable Heat

This automatic electric skillet is Model S30 by Presto. The skillet has a sturdy heavy construction, it is footed & has a long black handle & lid. It was made with the same precision-engineered heating unit as an electric stove & offers a complete range of variable heating positions. With its controlled heat, it is perfect for frying, baking & braising & can be used for making fries, stews, chicken, casseroles, etc. Bottom of the skillet was treated to prevent foods from sticking. Great to use as a chafing dish. Comes with original 29” cord & has been tested, works wonderfully & heats up very quickly. Dimensions 18” across including handle, 10 1/2” across cooking area, 7” high with lid, 2 1/2” deep. Skillet is from the 1950’s & is in very good vintage condition. My mother used the skillet quite a bit after marrying in 1954 but has been stored in her cupboard for the last several years not used. Has slight markings from use & age but no cracks, chips, deep scratches. See all photos.
