Very rare and collectible 1966 American Concept and American Made Ski Lock for when skis were starting to get stolen at big urbanish East Coast Ski Areas like Hunter Mt, Belleayre, Killington, and Mt. Snow.

Has a combination lock system. Thin metal cable lock that deterred amateur thieves who lacked tools to cut wire cables — especially an easy to cut one like this. Was designed to fit into a portion of a typical ski binding with the extra thin cable going through a section of the binding + poles. People used this skinny, light lock on bicycles too. Today such a lock could only be used in a gated community or a private or very rural ski area.

But it would still be good to use in communal friendly situations, where determined and proficient thieves don’t exist.

Mostly, this is a collectible piece of Americana ski history: an American Made (in New Jersey) nicely designed blue cable with silver streamlined four digit combination lock.

Comes with box, instructions, and warranty.
