This is a rare set of vintage brass unicorn fireplace tools. Unfortunately 3 of the horns have been broken off and only 2 of the heads are complete.
The set comes with a stand and four tools. The stand has a unicorn head attached (this is ones of the heads that are intact). There are four tools as pictured. This set weighs about 12 pounds. It is so sad that all of these unicorns aren’t intact. Perhaps someone crafty could make new horns, or the set could just be used for parts, or you could even just use the base piece with one unicorn and add 4 plain brass tools.
I hope this set will go to a good home and be cherished even with its flaws. It is very special. These are listed (although in good condition) for $1000+ on other sites.
