4 1/2 in.height/6 1/2 in. bottom/top 5 1/2 in.
Good vintage condition. Note: pictures show (ruefully) where ink was worn off bottom left and bottom right.
• Printed reproduction of Portrait of Mary Adelaide of France as Diana, painted in 1745 by Jean-Marc Nattier, a prominent French Rococo portraitist
• Marie Adelaide, daughter of King Louis XV, portrayed as the Roman goddess Diana—reclining with bow, crescent moon, and leopard skin lol
• Exterior made of synthetic woven textile with a fine grid-like weave
• Heat-transfer ink, a technique popular in boutique accessories from the 1970s
• Gold-toned metal frame with decorative clasp; interior lined with white vinyl.
