Vintage Chinese Cinnabar Lidded Ginger Jar on Pedestal – A striking decorative piece showcasing traditional Chinese craftsmanship. This hand-carved cinnabar lacquer jar features intricate floral and geometric motifs including two scenes of boats on the water with houses and trees, topped with a fitted lid, blue lacquered interior and bronze trim and finial. The jar also includes a custom carved wood pedestal on three feet. Preowned in very good condition. The brass shows patina. Blue lacquer interior is clean and intact. The piece will need some fine detailing and dusting. Measures approx 8.25" H with pedestal; 7"H without pedestal.
