Vintage Goldenrod ,(I think). It's very hard to read the label. It is oval, and I think I can read the golden rod label .

Item is in Vintage used condition... has rust, scuff marks, scratches and paint wear. Rusty industrial metal decor. Heavy duty item, the type commonly used in the mid-1900s for lubricating machinery, cars, bicycles, and farm equipment.
From the picture, the label on the front is heavily worn, but I can make out traces of an oval-shaped decal with faded red and gold coloring.
That shape and style were commonly used by companies like Eagle Manufacturing Co., Noera, or Goldenrod (Dutton-Lainson
Company), which were among the most prolific makers of oil cans in the U.S.
